We've added a progress bar to our website so you can see how we are faring in our attempt to raise our remaining budget for Trailer Park Princess.  In less than a week we have raised 3% and I know it may not seem like a lot but it means the world to me.  It is my mission to prove that I am worthy of your time and your hard earned money. 

I hope you will consider investing $10 in me and Trailer Park Princess.  With that $10 you are not only securing a copy of Trailer Park Princess.  You are helping pay the salaries of hard working creative people.  The majority of the money raised will be used to pay cast and crew, house them, transport them, and feed them.  I have secured most of my locations and I will not be drawing a salary for this film.  Neither will my father who is my cinematographer. 

We added a meet the cast page to the site.  There are links to each of their websites or IMDB pages so you can learn more about them.  We had over one thousand submissions for these particular roles and  I was really lucky to find actors and actresses who are the perfect embodiment of the characters in Trailer Park Princess.

As I mentioned in a previous post, fundraising is in full swing for Trailer Park Princess.  The incredible actors that I have cast so far inspire me to do everything I can to make this movie a reality.

We are nearly half way to our budget goal.  We have worked extremely hard to raise the money we have obtained so far but we have reached a point where we need help to make our ultimate goal.

This is the question I seem to be asked the most.  It isn't a secret that I've been doing all that I can to make Trailer Park Princess a reality.  I love this story.  I love the people involved.  I've tried working on other projects but I always come back to Trailer Park Princess.  The only obstacle left is the funding.  I have the majority of my cast and crew.  I have locations locked.  Wardrobe designed.  I even have almost half of the budget raised.  The challenge rests solely in being able to raise the additional $30K I will need to make this movie the way I envision it. 

As you can see, my team and I have worked extremely hard to get to this point.  We just need to keep going.  We have a lot of ideas on how to raise the rest of our budget.  One of the things we are going to do is hold a production kick off party that will showcase our work to date.  We will be showing the director's cut of my award winning feature film Carver.  We will also be showing my award winning short Night Shift as well as my web series Violet.  There will be auctions, raffles, and a lot more going on that evening.  Keep checking back for the date announcement.

We are also going to look for investors to help raise the remaining funds needed to make Trailer Park Princess.  We will be posting an investment memo on this site in the very near future with all the details.  This will be a great opportunity to be a producer on a feature film and get full access to the film making process from pre-production to the film's premiere.

Crowd funding is always an option.  We had great success with our Carver campaign.  Not so much with our first attempt with Trailer Park Princess.  We learned from our mistakes and believe we can remedy what we did wrong and achieve our goal this time around.  Not going to be easy but if it were easy everyone would do it.

So that's what is next.  It's basically Trailer Park Princess or bust.  I am focused, determined, and ready to face this challenge.  I hope you join me for the ride.
