We are nearly half way to our budget goal. We have worked extremely hard to raise the money we have obtained so far but we have reached a point where we need help to make our ultimate goal.
That is why we are offering a great package for $30 which includes the pre-order of Trailer Park Princess. We are offering these items directly so we can avoid paying the high percentage that crowd funding sites take as payment. We recognize that there is a certain amount of security when supporting a film through a crowd funding site but we believe we have proven ourselves to be responsible and trust worthy. You have my guarantee that every dime raised will be used in the production of Trailer Park Princess. Your support and trust is vital and I understand you may be hesitant to pre-order a film that is still in pre-production but I am not going to put my reputation on the line if I weren't confident that your money will be well protected and spent. I have a variety of items available for purchase, you can view them all by clicking HERE! If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us. We are happy to answer any questions or concerns. Thank you in advance for supporting Trailer Park Princess and reading my blog.

This is the question I seem to be asked the most. It isn't a secret that I've been doing all that I can to make Trailer Park Princess a reality. I love this story. I love the people involved. I've tried working on other projects but I always come back to Trailer Park Princess. The only obstacle left is the funding. I have the majority of my cast and crew. I have locations locked. Wardrobe designed. I even have almost half of the budget raised. The challenge rests solely in being able to raise the additional $30K I will need to make this movie the way I envision it.
As you can see, my team and I have worked extremely hard to get to this point. We just need to keep going. We have a lot of ideas on how to raise the rest of our budget. One of the things we are going to do is hold a production kick off party that will showcase our work to date. We will be showing the director's cut of my award winning feature film Carver. We will also be showing my award winning short Night Shift as well as my web series Violet. There will be auctions, raffles, and a lot more going on that evening. Keep checking back for the date announcement. We are also going to look for investors to help raise the remaining funds needed to make Trailer Park Princess. We will be posting an investment memo on this site in the very near future with all the details. This will be a great opportunity to be a producer on a feature film and get full access to the film making process from pre-production to the film's premiere. Crowd funding is always an option. We had great success with our Carver campaign. Not so much with our first attempt with Trailer Park Princess. We learned from our mistakes and believe we can remedy what we did wrong and achieve our goal this time around. Not going to be easy but if it were easy everyone would do it. So that's what is next. It's basically Trailer Park Princess or bust. I am focused, determined, and ready to face this challenge. I hope you join me for the ride. Thanks for reading and keep coming back for more updates and behind the scenes videos. I will be blogging and vlogging a lot going forward so be sure to book mark this page. --Emily Last year I placed 2nd out of thousands of entries in The Crypt TV's 6 Second Scare Competition. This year they expanded it to 15 seconds and I figured what the hell. Hopeful I can do as well as last year. Check out my entry and let me know what you think.
A year ago I wrapped production on my 6 Second Scare entry for Crypt Tv. I ended up coming in second place.
I hope all of you are liking the new web site design. It is still a work in progress but I like how clean and tight it looks. We will continue to tweak the site until we get the look perfected.
Last Friday night Birth, Movies, Death debuted the teaser trailer for my web series Violet. The response has been favorable for the most part. The criticism that I am hearing the most is that the teaser doesn't show enough. I think that is the purpose of a teaser trailer. To tantalize enough, (hopefully), to bring the viewer back for more. The full Violet trailer will be debuting soon and the series itself drops in November on Crypt TV. I will be blogging a lot more leading up to the release of Violet as well as the release of Carver. If you haven't seen the teaser just click HERE. I would love to hear everyone's thoughts. I don't run from critiques or criticism. I embrace it. I truly feel the only way to get better as a film maker is to be open minded to others thoughts. With that being said, simply saying that it sucks doesn't help in the slightest. If you think it sucks, tell me why. I find that the need to be negative for the mere sake of being negative is rampant in the world of independent film making. I find most of it amusing. I am excited to announce that we have begun post production on Violet right at the time we are wrapping post on Carver.
It's been a long road with Carver but one that has been worthwhile. I have learned so much from the process. From the first day of filming the Carver Kickstarter video til now it has been quite an experience and one that has helped me grow creatively and professionally. I can not wait to share Carver with the world. I am very proud of what we have accomplished with very few resources. We pride ourselves at being able to achieve a high quality, professional product on a small budget. Everything I learned on Carver I have been able to incorporate on Violet and it has benefited Violet immensely. I don't have a lot of details on when either project will be available. All I can promise is that as soon as they are available it will be announced on every available platform. So if you're reading this blog and you don't follow me on twitter on instagram now would be a good time to do so.
